New Check Cashing Procedures - Effective July 1, 2009

Beginning July 1 payroll checks will not be cashed unless you have the funds available on deposit with the credit union. All payroll checks will be subject to either a five or seven day hold. An amount of $100 will be made available immediately. All other checks will be subject to the credit union's funds available policy currently in place.

To avoid check holds you can take advantage of direct deposit from your employer. With direct deposit your check will automatically be deposited to your Carpenters account and you'll have instant access to your money. Or, you can also use a wire transfer for immediate credit.
